Welcome to the new Kirklees in Recovery website.

Kirklees in Recovery is a group of people who are in recovery from addiction, interested in promoting recovery from addiction and to reduce the stigma associated with addiction.  We meet regularly at the Union Bank and Union House hubs in Huddersfield and Dewsbury, offering our lived experience of addiction, recovery and the services available to help people achieve long-term abstinence – a new life – a life without the need to use drugs or alcohol ever again.

We have put this site together in the hope you, the reader, will benefit from the information we have provided.

There are many routes into recovery. Getting involved in our recovery community is one of them.  Meeting with others who have been where you are now is another.  Contact us now to learn more about what we do and how we can help you navigate the drug and alcohol treatment system in Kirklees.
