Improving support for families affected by drugs and alcohol since 1984

Adfam is the only national umbrella organisation working specifically with and for families affected by drugs and alcohol. Our final goal is that no family member in need of support should go without it.

As well as providing support materials and training specifically for families and professionals, Adfam informs policy development and campaigns both locally and nationally for improved family support services.

The Adfam website has two main sections; “for families” – information, local support groups and helplines for anyone affected by someone else’s substance use and “for professionals” – where professionals can find all the resources they need to better support families.
